This photo was taken for the line and shape assignment.
What I like about this photo is that it shows a medium depth of field and also the clarity of the shot was just great overall. My point of view was looking down: I did have to bend down a little bit to make sure the shoe would have a tilted angle. The photo follows the rule of thirds because the shoe in the back is on the top third. The depth of field is medium. The ISO was set to 200 and the White Balance was sunny. |
This photo was taken for the Studio Portrait/I AM From Poem assignment. What I like about this photo is that it captures such a great composition and the poem on the right side of the picture gives the picture an even more meaning. The photographer's point of view was a profile / 3 quarter shot . The photo follows the rule of thirds because my head as well as my shoulder is equally align with the rule of thirds .
The depth of field is wide. The ISO was set to 3200 and the White Balance was florescent. |

What I like about this photo is that it is such a simple picture, yet it has such a bigger meaning. All I did was take a clump of leaves and stick them to a tree. My point of view was head on. The photo follows the rule of thirds because I used the grid lines on my phone to make sure the leaves and the tree were lined up. The ISO was set to 400 and the White Balance was Sunny. When I took this photo into Photoshop, I cropped the negative space in the background out, leaving your focus to only the leaves on the tree. |
This photo was taken for the Motion assignment. What I like about this photo is that Eric looks like he has these super lungs, making the pinwheel go really fast. The point of view was taken sideways at a 30 degree angle. The photo takes the viewer through leading lines, through the fence in the background. The depth of field is shallow, because Eric is in focus, but the background is kind of blurry near the trees. The ISO was set to 400 and the White Balance was sunny.

What I like about this photo is how everything matches up together so perfectly. When I first looked at this picture, it reminded me of a movie poster. I love that the sun was positioned at the bottom of the picture to make it look like a sunset. The photo was taken head on. The photo follows the rule of thirds because everything is equally proportioned and follows the rule of thirds excellently right. When I went into Photoshop, I adjusted the levels to make the trees and the sky blend together nicely. The ISO was 1600 and the white balance was sunny. |
This photo was taken for the Landscape assignment.
What I like about this photo is the focus that is on the field and the blurriness of the people in the background. My point of view was up on the stands looking down at the field. The ISO was set to 400 and the white balance was sunny. The leading lines on the field give the viewer a focus to look for. This photo makes it look like a perfec, fun day, giving this photo a bigger meaning. |
